On behalf of our Board of Directors, we would like to announce the retirement of Joe Dale, Chief Executive Office for the Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN) in the spring of 2019.
Joe Dale has dedicated the last 10 years of his 42-year career with ODEN and has worked tirelessly and very passionately in promoting awareness in the hiring of people who have a disability across the province of Ontario. Under Joe’s leadership, ODEN has become a leader in the employment industry, working very closely with businesses, service agencies, government and the ODEN membership.
Joe recently shared with us, "It has been an honor and a pleasure working with such a dedicated and supportive Board of Directors and the ODEN staff team. I’m very proud of the work we have done and the impact we have made on the employment landscape for people who have a disability in Ontario. I know we have laid a solid foundation for ODEN and its work will continue to have a positive impact on the lives of people who have a disability as more and more take their rightful place in Ontario’s workforce."
In preparation for Joe's retirement, the Board has been working on succession planning and has begun recruitment of a new Chief Executive Officer for ODEN.
